Visibility Sensor - HSS VF-500 (analogue output)

The VF-500 Visibility Sensor is often deployed in extreme conditions and is able to withstand the rigours of many years in marine environments (coastal and offshore).

With the optional fog warning relay the HSS VF-500 is frequently used to automatically switch external devices such as warning lights, alarms and fog horns on lighthouses and offshore platforms as the visibility reaches a user defined limit.

Visibility Sensor - HSS VPF-710 (digital output)

The VPF-710 Visibility Sensor is suitable for use in any system where a digital output to a computer or logger is required. This sensor has sophisticated levels of self test for remote monitoring and is used particularly on airports, helipads, wind turbines and offshore weather stations. As with all HSS sensors it has excellent time proven performance and is suitable for use in extreme conditions.

Features: - as the VF-500 plus:

• optional ambient light sensor for RVR applications
• optional sensor inputs to provide completely synchronised weather parameters

Combined Visibility Sensor and Present Weather Sensor - HSS VPF-730

The VPF-730 is the best combined Visibility and Present Weather Sensor on the market today. It is one of a kind, being the only sensor using forward scatter meter technology to measure both visibility and precipitation data without an external sensor input.

Using proven technology this sensor is designed for a wide variety of applications such as Runway Visual Range, RADAR or other instrument adjustment or calibration, micro-meteorological research, motorway visibility and now casting ice or other dangerous conditions.

Present Weather Sensor - SWS-100

SWS-100 Present Weather Sensor with a measuring range up to 2 km (1.2 miles) is designed for use on roads and tunnels. With both digital and analogue outputs the sensor can be integrated into Intelligent Transport Systems and used for automatically switching warning signs in changing visibility conditions.

Present Weather Sensor - SWS-200

SWS-200 Present Weather Sensor is designed for general meteorological applications. This model has a measuring range up to 20 km (12 miles) and with an extra backscatter head provides enhanced present weather information.
